Overview

Small audio boards that is low-priced yet has the Andante Largo characteristics of being lightweight, robust, compact, and vibration-resistant.

In response to the current trend in audio, where cabinets are becoming increasingly smaller, we offer two types of boards in our lineup: the PB220, which is our smallest size, and the PB280, which is ideal for the power supplies of small components and various players.

Uses high-density plywood and spike structures based on the know-how gained from the Rigid series, etc. Recommended as an introduction to vibration control.

Details

high-density plywood

Based on hints from the development of the Rigid Series, we have adopted high-density plywood, ensuring robustness and vibration damping while keeping the light weight.

Spike support system

It uses three-point legs that can be set up quickly without the need for height adjustment.

This spike support system has two main advantages.

Reduction of vibration transmission

Between devices on the rack through the frame in between the boards. As well as transmission of structural vibration through the surface that the frame is resting on.　

Stable installation

The spike support system controls vibrations of the board. The clear mechanical grounding also effectively damps any vibrations when they are present.

To date the spikes are still the best way to limit the transmission of vibrations within our racks.

Why Structural adhesives for the connections

Glue ( 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Glue DP-460 ) : The adhesive we have selected is the high-strength structural glue which fixes the spikes to achieve the highest reliability. It fills any small voids to prevent buzzing type noise.

Modern adhesives are incredibly strong and very consistent in performance. They are often used in aerospace construction where low weight is high strength is essential.
